 Nicholas Schilling has spent nearly a decade coaching both recreational and tournament baseball, pouring his heart into helping young athletes grow on and off the field. Guided by his Christian faith, Nicholas chose to coach for the Disciples program because its mission goes beyond the game — building character, integrity, and community in the lives of youth. He believes coaching is more than teaching skills; it’s about mentoring the next generation, instilling values of hard work, teamwork, and faith that will carry them far beyond the diamond.

 James Norman is a man of faith who believes in leading with humility, service, and love. Guided by his relationship with God, James has dedicated his life to encouraging others, building people up, and serving wherever he is called. He views leadership as an opportunity to reflect Christ’s example — putting others first, walking in integrity, and helping people grow in both faith and purpose.

From a young age, James found joy and discipline on the baseball field. What began as a childhood passion has grown into a lifelong way to mentor others. For more than five years, he has been coaching baseball, using the game not only to teach skills but also to instill values of teamwork, perseverance, and character. His love for the sport has become a ministry in itself, giving him a platform to impact young lives and show God’s love through leadership and example.

Whether at work, in the community, on the field, or within the church, James is passionate about creating an environment where others feel valued and supported. His mission is to live out his faith daily, inspire others to walk closely with God, and remind people that with prayer, perseverance, and trust in the Lord, all things are possible.
